Join Maureen Stanek on Wednesday evenings during the month of December as we explore together the letter that Paul wrote to the Philippian church. Paul’s letter was written near the end of his Roman imprisonment around AD 61 or 62. We see clearly Paul’s heart for the church of Philippi and find strength as he encourages them in their faith. Though Paul faced difficult circumstances he kept His focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. There are timeless lessons and rich treasures to be discovered for the present day Christian.
“I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am”– Phil. 4:11
“Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” — Philippians 4: 6
“And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
“For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:19
“ Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” —- Philippians 1:6

Baby Dedication
Sunday, Jan 12 at 9:30 am
Hannah asked, “I am the woman who stood here several years ago praying to the Lord. I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has granted my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.” And they worshiped the Lord there. (I Samuel 1:26-28 NLT)
We see in the book of Samuel where Hannah dedicates her son to the Lord. Some translations read that she “lent him” or “gave him” to the Lord. We invite you to dedicate your child to the Lord during this special service.
