We are so excited about what God is doing in our community and world. Everything you are reading about right now was once only a dream, God’s dream, to reach people with the good news of His great love. My life is proof that the amazing, forgiving, redeeming grace of the Father can take a person from low, selfish living to the exciting new high life of loving, giving, and serving others. I’m proof that Jesus comes to seek and save those who are lost.
For more than thirty years, along with our pastoral team, I’ve had the honor to pastor this wonderful church body, beginning with a small home Bible study in downtown Bastrop where God-hungry people gathered tightly in a crowded living room to learn more about God. From our early days, we always aimed to care for the lost and needy. With a heart of worship, preaching, teaching, praying for the sick, and oppressed, we stand in awe as God continues to demonstrate His Word with signs following. My late husband, Tony Jackson, carried a passion in his heart for Latin America which took him to Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Belize teaching church leaders and encouraging the people to fight the “good fight of faith”. I have had the wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus and basic principles of faith, joy and holy living with hundreds of people in our community and in other countries. We invite you to join us on this journey as we magnify and glorify the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God has a new beginning ready for you! We’re so glad you’re here.

Dane Edwards – Youth Leader
Dane Edwards received the call to ministry at the age of eighteen through a series of multiple God-encounters that changed the direction of his life forever. At age twenty, Dane enrolled at Rhema Bible Training Center to pursue the call of God on his life. Traveling through many states in the U.S., along with a youth evangelist, Dane developed his passion for youth ministry.
After graduating from Rhema in 1993, Dane furthered his education at Oral Roberts University. Dane soon returned to Rhema and began volunteering at the Prayer and Healing Center helping with the prayer phone lines and the classes designed to teach, preach and demonstrate God’s healing power to those in attendance. During these years, Dane also traveled in ministry, speaking at churches and youth events around the U.S., as he grew in ministry experience.
Throughout the years, Dane has taught the Word of God at multiple Bible schools, churches, and ministry events. Dane has also enjoyed the blessing of the Lord working in the construction, remodeling and residential building industry – both as a tradesman and a salesman.
Dane’s desire is that the young people of Bastrop County will experience God in all of His goodness, developing a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ, God – the Father, and Holy Spirit. His heart is to see each young person learn about, grow into and personally realize the amazing power of God on a regular basis.
Dane has been married to his wonderful and talented wife, Allie, since 2006. They have one son, Asher, who is entering his teen years, and is full of life and fun.
Allie Edwards
Allie is a native of Bastrop, Texas and at fifteen years-old received Christ as her Savior while attending a church service at BCOC. At that time, Allie realized she wanted to spend her life noticing the unnoticed, hearing the unheard, and loving the unloved. Allie loves teaching the Word of God to every age and explaining how to daily live out the truths found in the Bible. She enjoys ministering alongside her husband, Dane, in the junior high and high school youth, discipleship classes, and speaking at other churches and events. Allie also has a big heart for Christian education. She founded and worked at a local Christian school for twelve years, and has homeschooled and tutored many young people throughout the years. She is grateful to be serving alongside an anointed ministry team who helped change her life as a teenager. Allie is a 1989 graduate of Bastrop High School and a graduate of Endtime Harvesters Bible School.
