Dear BCOC Family,
We are excited to be able to take a BCOC team back to Big Heart Orphanage September 23-26, 2021. Our mission trip has expanded to four days and includes four focus points:
Pouring into the lives of the kids and staff at Big Heart – Reynosa
Blessing Big Heart – Reynosa and Big Heart in the Mountains (near Saltillo, Mexico)
Helping provide resources and serving with Bruce & Paula Hepburn of Mexico Missions with their monthly food distribution and worship service in the colonias (in a very poor area of Reynosa by the garbage dumps).
Spending a day in the neighborhood school near Big Heart – Reynosa sharing the Gospel directly and through a craft with the students and staff.
We ask that you cover our team with prayer while we are on this trip. We also want to bless Big Heart with household cleaning supplies and any other donation that God places on your heart. We’d love to fill up the BCOC trailer with our donations! A list of the needed household items is listed at the end of this letter.
We plan on blessing Mexico Missions with a financial donation to support their monthly food distribution in the colonias of Reynosa. (The cost of the monthly food distribution is approximately $1,000.00)
We are planning three mission trips in 2022 and would love to have you join us if God places it on your heart. All mission trip team members need to have taken Pastor Scott’s Discipleship class and preferably have also taken Pastor Joan’s Firestarters class.
