National Back to Church Sunday started as a call to action and invitation – action for the church, invitation for the world. A single-day event focused on extending the invitation of love, peace and hope to our friends and neighbors. A single day to reclaim the true nature of church – exactly as Christ commanded. Incredibly, since then, more than 4-million Christ-followers have participated through over 30,000 churches…and the movement is still growing.
We invite you to join us on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center, 1096 HWY 71 West, Bastrop, Texas.
If you have thought about going back to church, if you have never stepped foot in a church, or if you’ve had an experience at a church that left you disappointed or disillusioned, we’d love for you to come see us.
At BCOC, we consider ourselves to be a family. We pray together, worship together, laugh together, cry together, and walk through life’s challenges and victories together.
We know there is no such thing as perfect people. We also know there is no such thing as a perfect church.
We do know we are passionate about loving and worshipping God, loving people and seeking Jesus wholeheartedly in our daily lives.
We also know that being a Christian is more than just entering a building on a Sunday morning but it is certainly a great place to start in your walk of faith.
