Overcoming Opposition

Joan Boethel | The Book of Acts | Feb. 19, 2020

The name of this book is commonly called “The Acts of the Apostles,” as the Apostles were the first to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the works of Jesus. But as thousands received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and were baptized in the Holy Spirit, the works of Jesus became manifest through all believers. This series spotlights the baptism in the Holy Spirit, faith in the Name of Jesus, and the grace to overcome opposition in the ministry of the gospel.
