Dane Edwards: Delivered from Elements

BCOC Church | Colossians: The Sequel to Ephesians | Feb. 26, 2020

Written around the same time as Paul's letter to Ephesus, Colossians carries much of the same flavors of inspiration and revelation as Ephesians. Seeking to reveal Christ Jesus for who He was and is, the apostle Paul expounds on the power of knowing one's identity in Christ. "Him (Christ) we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." -Col. 1:28 As seen in Colossians, this feat of God to put man in Christ and Christ in men was no small accomplishment. Nor was it intended to be kept behind closed doors. God's desire and plan is for all people to see Christ for who He is, what He has done, and who He can be, both to them and through them.
