In Acts 8 we read about a man named Philip who went down to the great city of
Samaria. There he preached Christ to them through many signs and wonders, and the
Bible tells us the whole city was saved! This was an amazing turn of events, but when
word reached Jerusalem the elders immediately went into action. They knew there was
more to be done in Samaria! They sent Peter and John on the long arduous journey to
bring a power to these new believers that would transform their lives and change their world.
