Jesus came to plant the kingdom of God right in the center of the kingdoms of this world. This planting would be a new community and Jesus would need His Father's secret weapon to achieve it. That weapon would not be the anointing, miracles or the power of heaven, but instead it would be people. If this new community was going to planted, grown and sustained over generations Jesus would need you and me. He deliberately chose twelve disciples, brought them close to Himself and began teaching them about relationships. Unless His followers were able to remain together, this new community would fail. So began the journey of supplying his disciples with what we know today as “red letters.” The words of Jesus when believed and acted upon will forever change our hearts, our homes, our communities and our world.
