Important Notice: Flood Evacuees & Volunteers

5:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 Update

Bastrop County has set up a Damage Hotline number for the Halloween floods. If you have had damage to your home or property please call: 512-332-7225. It is important that you register your property. Bastrop Long Term Recovery and the cleanup locations are also taking this information.

1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 Update

BCOC is now closed as a temporary evacuation shelter.

The following shelters are remaining open:

Bastrop County Residents– Please report to First United Methodist Church , 1201 Main St., Bastrop Texas, 512-321-2201.

Travis County Residents– Please report to Dittmar Recreation Center, 1009 W. Dittmar Rd. Austin, Texas, 512-974-6090

We want to say a big thank you so much for all the volunteers who came out to help these last few days. Thank you also to the following local businesses who helped the flood victims: Chick- fil- A, Subway, Walmart, Bluebonnet Electric Corporation and Mrs.Baird Bread company. Thank you also to all the emergency workers who are helping to keep people safe.

Let’s continue to pray for all those affected by these floods.

 Saturday Morning Update, October 31, 2015 at 6:45 a.m.

Attention BCOC Church Members: We have over 100 people (children, teens and adults) who were evacuated staying at the church due to the flood. Pastor Scott is asking that if you can volunteer today please call him this morning at 512-332-6753 and he will let you know what is needed.

Please spread the word. Thank you so much! We need help now.

Bastrop Christian Outreach Center located at 1096 Hwy 71 West is now open as a shelter. If you have been evacuated and need a place to stay, we are here to help you. You may call us at 512-321-2273.
