Faith, Foolishness and Presumption
This session we are going to learn how to be more confident in hearing God’s voice and standing on His promises. Hebrews 10:35 says, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.” To confidently rest on God’s promises to us, we must know assuredly if we are standing in faith, operating in foolishness, or acting on presumption.
Yes, it is possible to operate in foolishness or presumption when we think we are standing in faith. The result of operating in foolishness and/or presumption is, we will think faith doesn’t work and we give up in believing God and we don’t grow in our relationship with Jesus. And yes, we can know we are in faith even when it doesn’t make sense to us, or we don’t “see” how you can ever get out of the hole you find yourself in. This is when your faith life gets exciting!
So, join me as we journey through God’s Word as go from foolishness, from presumption to a confident walk of faith and freedom.
