Scuba VBS: Diving Into Friendship with God

Our 2024 VBS is around the corner and preparations are being made for another exciting, interactive week of Bible adventure.  This year’s Scuba VBS dates are Monday, June 17 to Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 5:30-8:30 pm nightly and Sunday morning, June 23rd at 10:00 am. Once again, we are planning an action-packed learning experience that will engage your child in a variety of ways.  Each child has a place in this special event, and one possible way for your child to get involved is to become a member of the student led Scuba VBS Praise Team.  We use student leaders for praise each year in our VBS program, and we will have an audition on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 4:00 pm.

In order for your child to be eligible to participate, he/she must attend weekly practices at the church on Sunday afternoons (4:00-5:00 pm) from April 7, 2024, to June 9, 2024. We will NOT have practice on Mother’s Day (May 11th), or Memorial Day weekend (May 26th).  Transportation to these practices will be the parent’s responsibility.  You and your child must also agree that he/she will memorize the lyrics to the ten songs and practice to learn the movements at home between formal church practices.

Children on the praise team will be given a special T-shirt. They will also be required to purchase a DVD from BCOC for the purpose of practicing at home.  The cost will be $16.00 per family represented on the praise team.

•     Children who are engaging, energetic, and passionate about praise & worship
•     Teachable, Obedient, Willing Hearts
•     Children who have a relationship with the Lord
