Dear Friend:
Today, I woke up with the following scripture in my heart, “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (I Peter 5:7). Isn’t it good to remember that God cares for us? He sees all those things in our lives that concern us yet He tells us to cast all our anxieties and all our cares on Him because He really does care. How do I cast my cares on the Lord? The answer is found in Philippians 4:6-7: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Take that thought that is bothering you and talk to God about it. Ask Him to intervene and give you wisdom. Ask Him to provide for what you need. Then, believe He has heard you and thank Him for coming on the scene and bringing change. Many times change occurs in the unseen realm so don’t be moved by what things look like. Remind yourself, “God really cares about me and He is more than enough for me. I trust Him with all my heart.” Enjoy the journey of walking with Him every day. He will show you each step to take.
