Dear Friends:
I write here from a quiet office in my sister in law’s home in The Colony subdivision but all is not quiet around this city and county today. Our hearts and prayers go out to each person who has suffered loss from this devastating fire. The fire still rages while I write. We continue to pray and praise God for being God in the midst of every circumstance we face. “Lord, we know You are a good God and we will love and serve You forever.”
We want you to know you are not alone through this time. The song that is playing in my heart right now is , “Thou O Lord art a shield for me. You’re the glory and the lifter of my head.” We lift our hearts and eyes to Him today. We know our help comes from the Lord.
We encourage you not to draw back but draw closer to Jesus than you every have before. The enemy of our soul would like us to get bitter but we will only get better.
“At all times I will bless Him. His praise will continually be in my mouth.”
Know that we as your pastors are here to pray for you, love you and walk with you down this road. We’ve been made more than conquerors, overcomers in this life. We’ve been made victorious through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We love all of you who are members of our church and we love all of you in this community. We are here for you. Please call the church office at 512-321-2273 with your need or prayer request.
In His Love,
Pastor Maureen
