Make Time for Jesus

Dear Friend:

Pastor Scott and I just returned home from Fort Worth where we attended the KCM 2012 Minister’s Conference. We were especially blessed to hear the Lord confirming so many wonderful truths that are alive in our hearts right now. Some of the things that stand out are:

1. Draw near to God and make time each day to go to His sanctuary to hear what He wants to say to us. Make this a priority- first place in our lives.
2. The door is open for miracles. Get ready!
3. This is the time to walk in the fullness of the Blessing. What does this mean?

It means we have a blood covenant with Almighty God and we are to receive all that He has promised for us. It is His good pleasure to give His children the Kingdom.
We, as believers, must remember that walking with God is a relationship. He has so much He wants to share with us. Are we going to Him and asking Him, “What is on your heart today, Father?” Who do you want me to touch? What do you want to show me?” Or are we going to Him with our plans and ideas and asking Him to bless them. Or are we so busy, we are neglecting time spent alone with Him?
He is the God of the universe, the God of all wisdom and knowledge. Let’s take time to sit at His feet, read His Word and listen to the soft voice of the Holy Spirit who is always speaking.

In His Love and Goodness,

Pastor Maureen
