IGNITE is a group where we learn about God and grow to love Him more. Here, we make friends, serve others, and have fun at the same time! Using Biblical teachings and discipleship, we seek to excite, inspire, capture, and IGNITE young people for Jesus Christ.
We also exist to help parents with their student’s spiritual development. We do this by mentoring students for ministry and discipling them to become spiritually mature servant-leaders, who will fulfill the Great Commission at home and abroad. It is our goal to connect with and engage students, so they know and understand the ever-present God of today and enable them to become the Christian Leaders of tomorrow.
Matthew 3:11, “(Jesus) will IGNITE the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”
We look forward to meeting you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us. God’s got a great plan for your life.

Our student ministry also offers classes on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Read about them below:
As boys grow into men, they are launched into life, like arrows shot from the bow of a hunter. The preparation of that arrow to hit its target all depends on those who have prepared it for launch. King’s Arrows is a class that meets on Sunday mornings for the young men at BCOC, grades 6-8.
Utilizing scripture, fellowship, media and relationships, the goal of the class is to equip teen boys to hit the mark and excel in life as the next generation of leaders in society. Our desire is to assist parents in developing a Biblical solid foundation for their children.
Schedule: King’s Arrows (grades 6-8 boys) meets in Room H the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month. Students are dismissed to class after praise and worship in the sanctuary.
This class for 6th to 8th grade girls is geared towards equipping the next generation of young women to live every day for God’s glory and shine like diamonds in life. In our Sunday morning classes we encourage fellowship, teach life lessons from the Bible, and explore Biblical truths about age appropriate topics. We also have time for teens to ask questions and receive advice for issues they may be facing. We desire the young ladies in this class not just be taught the Word of God, but for the scriptures to come alive to them.
Schedule: Polished Diamonds (grades 6-8 girls) meets in Room I the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month. Students are dismissed to class after praise and worship in the sanctuary.
Note: We encourage the junior high students to serve in one of the ministries at the church on the 4th and 5th Sundays. Click on the link below to submit your volunteer application online: https://bcoc.churchcenter.com/people/forms/354775
The mission of this class for girls in grades 9-12 is to take this group of young women, disciple them in the Word of God, teach them an uncommon faith, help them stand victoriously in life, and help them know they are priceless gems to their Father. Each class has a discussion time worked in to explore the Word of God, develop relationships, and encourage lasting bonds of friendship.
We believe every student is uniquely gifted, and we desire to cultivate those gifts by inspiring students to use their gifts to impact the world around them. Our desire is that each young woman develops a strong relationship with Jesus, their sisters in Christ, and shares her faith with others.
Schedule: Polished Gems (grades 9-12 girls) meets in Room G the 1st and 3rd Sundays. Students are dismissed to class after praise and worship in the sanctuary.
The mission of King’s Men is to develop armed and trained servants born of our own household. We aim to give practical opportunities for discovery, growth and development of student’s individual gifts and abilities. Here you will find teachings that apply to school, relationships and work. We will develop deeper relationships in Christ and provide true discipleship.
