About Doug
Doug Smith began attending BCOC in the spring of 2005 and soon after made a decision to finally surrender his life fully to Jesus. Doug had found salvation at eighteen years old and knew that there was a calling on his life to minister the gospel but attempted to dismiss that calling until several years later when he stepped through the doors of BCOC. Doug and his wife, Theresa, under the leadership of the pastoral team and strong body of believers grew in faith serving in many different capacities over the next twelve years. In the fall of 2016, Doug and Theresa (along with their children Marcus & Danica) felt the Lord leading them to Southeast Idaho. They chose to follow God’s promptings and assisted in planting Grace Church in Pocatello, Idaho. In January 2018, that church plant came under Bastrop Christian Outreach Center and was renamed, Pocatello Christian Outreach Center (PCOC). The body of believers in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area is growing in a supernatural way.
